I only put 3 sources but you can add if you needed —- Group Project – How it’s marketed The theme for the class project is “How it’s marketed”. As the name suggests, each group will describe how a particular product or brand is marketed. Each group will pick a product or brand from a list provided by the instructor and describe how the material presented in class apply to its marketing. This essentially means that each group will be conducting research on how the respective company performs its marketing activities, both in general and for the specific product or brand.Project Objective The objective of the project is to offer students an opportunity to examine and contemplate how the concepts, theories, models, and practices discussed in the course apply to a real life company and product or brand. The final report should have at least three sections. 1)The Company – Give an overview of the company and its marketing activities. Issues addressed here will include: a) Brief company history b) Industry (or industries) that it competes/operates in c) Its performance and competitive standing in the industry, e.g. market position, market share, sales, etc. d) Its product portfolio e) Its marketing organization 2) The product or brand – Describe how it’s marketed. Issues addressed will include: a) Target market b) Differentiation and positioning c) Product models, versions, options, SKUs, etc. offered d) Pricing practices – Retail and wholesale prices; prices relative to competitors e) Distribution strategies – marketing channels used f) Marketing communications activities – Traditional and digital communication approaches g) Product or brand performance – sales, market share, etc. 3) Any other relevant company, product, or brand information that is relevant for understanding how the product or brand is marketed.
