Note: critical considerations are; the milled layout and its material, type of the milling operation (Face Milling, Shoulder Milling,…etc), shapes of the milling tools required to suit the milled layout with the milling operations, lastly, the workpiece material that suits the chosen milling tools and its machinability. Thesis Structure —————— Introduction (8-10 pages) *This section will provide the concept of virtual machining and how designs and programmed software are used for process modeling. *This section will discuss the need and importance of conducting this research on Engage Movements (Tool Entry Methods) in milling programmed by CAM Software. *Also, this is section should include the reasoning of the critical considerations ( Finally, it will explain the organization of the thesis. *Note: any pictures, charts, graphs, and graphical illustrations need to be added to explain further the written knowledge. Literature Review and Background Research (23-25 pages) *This section should provide in-depth efficiency of milling operations in current manufacturing facilities and prototype development. *Important note (I will provide this later): the material of the milled layout and the material of the cutting tool with the type of the milling operations should be considered when describing the effects of the tool entry methods and the cutting direction effects. *this section should include research and an overview of the different techniques and methods of tool entries in CAM programming [types (listed above), their effects (resulting surface, cutting forces, vibrations and tool life), benefits and negatives of each method]. *Also, including an overview of current knowledge of the effects of the CAM Software options relating the cutting direction effects (Climb, Conventional, and both ways) their benefits, and negatives. *This section will also provide a literature analysis of previous research conducted in the past related to the said topic. *Note: graphs and charts, pictures, and illustrations need to be added to explain further the methods and their effects.
