To Whom it may concern I need a hand with the Introduction and Discussion section of my Scientific Lab Report. I have attached four peer-reviewed papers, the information from these must be paraphrased and intext referencing is needed. I have also attached the instructions, step by step which should really help, it also has the results that are needed for the discussion section. Thanks Heaps, i really appreciate it. NOTE: Everything you get out of your peer-reviewed literature must be paraphrased! The purpose of the Introduction is to explain why you have done your study, and what you expect to find. Our study We completed a compound search task how long it took participants to identify the target line and correctly respond to it. There was a total of three conditions, the neutral condition, where the images of the bodies were of average weight, and there was no image of the unique body, the congruent condition, where the target line was adjacent to the unique body, and finally the incongruent condition, the distractor line was adjacent to the unique body. Initial general statement Begin with one or two sentences stating the study’s main behavioral issue from a broad perspective. These can relate to real world issues (prevalence of obesity in the Australian population; distorted media representations of female bodies), but it is desirable that you focus on the specific research being conducted in this study (visual sensitivity to variations in body fat; attentional biases to different types of information – body fat, in particular). A useful exercise to decide how to open your introduction might be to imagine what you’d say to an intelligent stranger to make them sufficiently interested to want to hear more. This should be followed by a short section establishing the theoretical framework that has generated the particular questions employed by your study.
