Karl Rogers developed person-centered therapy (PCT); a form of talk-psychotherapy in the 1950’s. The major aim is to provide patients with an opportunity to develop a sense of self so they can realize how their attitudes, behaviors, emotions and feelings can and are negatively influenced and will hopefully make an effort to finding their true and full potential in life(Smith, 2004).
